It will take longer to get from what you started at to what stopped at for SOC. Nobody goes over 90% SOC on generator (as was mentioned several times).
You need to figure out your scenario that gets you shore power long enough, often enough, between sessions off-grid, to get to 100% and so to keep going some more off-grid. Or park in never-ending sunshine.
