i think he is saying your chosen SOC for (1) battery might be 8amps draw
so with (4) batteries in parallel, that same SOC will be 32 amps draw
which could be around 80% SOC
if you wait for (4) batteries to get down to 8amps total 2amps per battery
you might be running that generator all day
NO percentage of SOC was given for the example, the 80% is just my guestaimation
at 80% SOC my bank will take appox 60amps on generator startup
but i have 3400w peak 3000 running watts generator
and my standard converter is a PD-70
its a relative statement
