No pressure, but you may wish to stick a pin in that bag to make a small hole as there could be vacuum.

Two suggestions.. Try assorted caps you may have lying about, (Do not forget a tiny hole, 1/8 inch or smaller) Try spray can caps and such as a temp fix.. once you find the proper size cap visit an auto parts store they may have the cap on the "HELP" display. They are often the same size.

Good question. A pin hole in the bag would not let much dirt in and would answer the question.

just a thought... is there supposed to be a hole in the top to let in air?
we just have a platic bag held on by rubber bands.
when we use the washer i think there might be a vaccuum in the container.
