- Vet_ManExplorerthe dog house, that is how my rv dealer showed me to do it. He cut a cheap extension core female end off, added 2 alligator clips. Connected the clips to the solenoid value and plugged it in for a few seconds while the anti freeze was being pumped. yes the solenoid valve is 110volt.
- thedoghouseExplorerI cut a drop cord down and put two female connectors on it and attach them to the solenoid valve and while the pump is on I plug cord into the ac receptacle for 2 4 seconds and antifreeze flows in. Fast and easy
- The best way is to blow out the line from the water valve solenoid until air comes out and then leave the solenoid disconnected. The RV antifreeze will sometimes react with the Icemaker mold if left in the mold over the winter. Doug
- RickSoExplorerWhen I winterize my RV I just cycle the antifreeze like it is making ice until no freezing happens. It usually takes three to four ice cycles then put it away for the winter. We do the same thing for the washing machine to get antifreeze through the pumps of the appliance.
