Losses only count during bulk. Once in absorption the battery will limit the current.
I gather that MPPT "effect" varies "depending" anyway, so it would be hard to nail down the exact amps gone missing at any moment from any array-controller voltage drop. Still, you'd think all you MPPT guys would have this stuff at your fingertips! :(
What's worse, this Eco-Worthy stops doing MPPT once batt reaches Vabs and it goes into PWM for the Absorption stage. If it takes the MPPT function to get the panel's amps from 8 to 16, then it yanks the MPPT, will that mean the amps drop to 8 all of a sudden? (where batteries will still accept at least 16) Have to find out.
I can jack up Vabs to a max of 15v, I gather, so that would delay reaching Vabs before it stops MPPTing I guess.
