To some degree yes.
The efficiency is typically maximized at or near rated current on the load side with a nominal input voltage.
When higher voltages are applied to the source side, the losses increase due to the switching times associated with transistors and diodes, and the energy stored/consumed by this stored device charge.
These losses are non-linear and vary with panel parameters so good reliable data is somewhat system specific.
