again, depends on your use case I agree with Ken. I went from 8.5A to 11+ and since I seldom get battery charge high enough to taper the current, I'll take my extra 3A x 8 hrs =24AH, lot more than 10%
However, not paying attention to wiring losses could easily get you to the point where the MPPT controller isn't giving you much improvement over PWM, or at least not the full benefit.
