I just replaced a dimmer switch in my truck camper. I used wire nuts to connect the wires. Now I am starting to think I should have used "automotive" type connectors. Any experience or thoughts? W...

Being old school I always twist the wires together before using the wire nuts. No failures yet...
My trailer was full of wire nuts from the factory especially behind the converter/charger unit and the trailer cable electrical junction box areas... I eliminated a rats nest full of them when replacing the OLD single mode converter/charger for the more modern smart-mode converter/charger which came with a real nice 120VAC and 12VDC Power Distribution Panel.
