Workhorse dash red blinking light?

A couple of possibilities come to mind. They may be entirely wrong. I don't have any chassis specific knowledge here.
1. Brake light--either your parking brake isn't quite fully released, or brake fluid is borderline low. (This has hydraulic brakes, right? If not, please kindly ignore what I wrote as it's nonsensical.)
2. Step extended warning light, blinking because it wasn't quite retracted all the way or because the sensing switch needs adjustment.
