Would this be a terrible idea? {aluminum jack stands)

My van is high clearance and I am small. I do not jack it up when working under it. I do use a jack stand or two, though, when camped for a long time at an unlevel spot that would require 6 or more...

Those jack stands have been used to stabilize RVs for many years. Since the 60's or earlier. I'm not sure that you will actually be able to raise part of the vehicle off the ground with them. I'm not sure I would use the cheapest ones I can find but...
