Wow 2000 watts? That should work excellent. There are a lot of people in this forum who seem to think they need 4000+ watts of generator power and I don't get it. Maybe they want to run their hot water heater on electric, while running 2 roof AC units and also running the microwave...
anyway, I would say get it. Its more than enough power to keep your batteries charged and run say a 15 amp appliance at the same time.
I make do with a 350 watt generator when I camp... enough for me to charge batteries and run cell chargers, all my lights, etc.
In fact, if your air conditioner is a 13,500 btu unit, it MAY even run on your generator, no way to tell for sure. But that would only be with charged batteries an nothing else going.
