I can tell by your statement that you might not understand that the pics that show up in discussion threads are not "imported" at all. But rather are hosted by a server of your choice, and the image is displayed via a link to that server on this site. They are scaled as necessary using the optional height and width parameters available during the posting process. If you delete your pic from the server you've linked to then it's gone from the post also!
And there I go deviating from the main topic. This thread should have been marked "solved" and closed two posts ago! :)
