"WOULDN'T IT BE NICE IF..."

The forum gurus could modify it a little bit to allow the original poster to go back and check a little box that says PROBLEM FIXED!

Then at the end of the original thread title a PROBLEM FIXED would appear and alert all viewers the OP was satisfied with the information and results.

    As long as good folks respond to a poster with intent of helping him out, I feel courtesy dictates that a thank you or response from the op is the right thing to do. But folks have different perceptions of the right thing.

    I agree. It would also be nice to have a check box to thank a person who has posted something helpful as some forums have.
