I think you have answered my issue. That explains why my batts only have lasted 4 years.
We use the batt bank to run frig house lights fans I monitor the remote. When I see my storage power drop to about 50% I will normally run the little red Honda gen. Which handles our needs
easily. BUT. Is only putting 5 Amps of charge back into the bank of 8 agm’s
Then once back to the dock shore power is used to slowly at 5 amp rate recharge the bank till the next weekend.
I have noticed these batts have begun to swell
So between killing my bank, the inverter 2000 is getting beat up too
