Only if on solar.
If they don't get low, they stay in the low and slow amps zone at high state of charge with long gen running time for the same AH restored.
"50-80s" were invented for off-grid gen charging so the high amps acceptance of the batteries in that lower SOC zone can be exploited to reduce gen running time.
So you can run them down to 50% if that takes two or three days, and then do a fast recharge to 80 or 90%. Repeat as necessary. Then later at home on shore power, you do the full recharge "recovery" to 100% which can take a whole day--too long for generator running.
