Here's about the best there is (polyurethane). We use a 50 ft. one at our stick house, but it would also be an excellent RV drinking water hose:

3) Hose and brass or stainless steel fittings should last a lifetime
4) Ultra flexible at all temperatures
5) Does not kink
6) Small diameter for compactness - but plenty large enough water delivery rate for RV use.
7) Small diameter for ultra-light weight handling
If you want to buy it once and have it do it's thing for a lifetime, this is probably it. The one at our stick house is at least 5 years old and is kept wound up outside in the sun ... and it looks brand new.
