A little something I tried for better engine cooling

Filter coolant return line now returns into radiator which increases cooling. It also returns to the degas bottle which returns to the coolant pump with no cooling.

This is the original installation method recommended by IPR. The radiator return method has proven to be about 6 degrees cooler so it does improve cooling.

For comparison, this is the TEE return Mishimoto recommends for their coolant filter return. Sinister diesel and a few others recommend the same return method. IPR might be the only coolant filter kit manufacturer who returns to the coolant pump without any additional cooling, while the rest of the manufacturers kits return through the radiator and degas bottle.
