I got my new dash pad and set cover installed.
And a new windshield washer fluid reservoir, pump and new wiper blades installed.
Today I changed the oil and filter, first time its been done in over 20 years.
I added a cleaner and ran it for about 10 minutes prior to draining the oil.
The oil looked like black gasoline.
I also got my new glove box liner from Dennis Carpenter installed. The old one crumbled when I took it out to install the new dash pad.
Now I can keep the original owners manual in there. :)
And a new battery tray.
New brake and clutch pedal pads.
I also got the old ugly home mead trailer hitch off too.
I have a new one from etrailer that I will get installed soon.
I got the old heat passages drilled and cleaned out for the heat for the choke.
I still need to make a new inlet tube but now the choke works like its supposed to and opens when the engine gets warm.
I even got a new passenger side headlight replaced.
Still TONS to do. It needs new transfer case mounts, the front yoke on the front driveline replaced, both u-joints on the rear driveline and still more.
Its a fun project and its pretty fun to drive too.
