Yes, its a canister filter. That AC Delco pump really dates the engine.
I haven't seen one in years but very pleased that he put that kind of fuel pump on the truck.
Most older Ford truck back in the 60s and early 70s had that style of pump and filter. Here's what the fuel filter looks like.
I'm going to open it up when I get it home and see how everything inside looks and make sure that the cam has the prober break-in lube on it.
