No, In my case I had a different rigid Equalizer. Actually it was an Alko, not a Dexter.
If you have a Dexter equalizer and it fits in the range the EX flex was made for, then there is very little if any ride height changes.
However.... there are some really strange long Dexter equalizers as well that will affect ride height. Best to check first which one you have. See this Dexter file. On the bottom of it are the actual dimensions of the EX flex. If you do not know what rigid equalizer you have now, you can measure it and compare this sheet.
