Today, I examined the engine wire harness and found that the tape in places was worn. The harness is also supposed to be attached to several studs and other attachment points on the engine. I examined the wires for any wear points and found none so I put split loom over the exposed points. I gave a jiggle test and made sure all connections were made proper. Tomorrow, I'll test the FICM. Hopefully whatever the problem, I'll find it tomorrow, scratch that, DR appts tomorrow. Thursday I'll put time into figuring this problem out.
I think it unlikely two injectors would go bad at the same time so my money is on the FICM or some yet to be discovered Gremlin or Bug in the works. I shall keep y'all posted.
