First diesel was an '84 Isuzu P'up 2.2L 5spd 4.10 rear. Wouldn't pull a greased string out of a cat's but it did it reliably for over 300k miles when we traded it for an F150. Then I heard the Cummins in a Dodge. Had to have one, two, three, four and swore I'd neeeeeevvvvvvver own another gasser. Cost of maintenance was comparable to gas. The 300cid I6 in the F150 actually towed better than the '94 160hp Cummins in the heavier Ram with our 4400 lb TT, GVWR 6k lbs. But it was a Cummins and the angels sang every time I started it. Next TV will likely be gas if it's a pickup at all due mainly to the outrageous price of new pickups. It's gone from not practical to insane. Unless I happen upon another '01.5 Cummins, 6spd/3.54 Ram.
