I have given the system a good test. I've gone up long steep hills that have traditionally caused an overheating and coolant purge. Those purges happened with the blue wire switch on, causing maximum blow from the engine fan for cooling. The current testing was done without running the engine fan and the engine temperature never exceeded 192 degrees, nor did it blow coolant. No engine fan, 10 degrees cooler, no purging, that sounds like a cure to me. All my modifications will stay in place, the extra cooling capacity is always a good thing if a worst case scenario happens. If there was indeed still a head gasket problem, it would still be there and blowing coolant. I've intentionally run this engine pretty hard to force a coolant blowout and over heat condition, and it hasn't happened.
