Progressive is not very good at handling your claim! May be cheaper but you’ll pay in the end.
When was this? I strongly disagree. I had a vehicle totaled in a flood, claim completed and paid in under 2 weeks. Vehicle was in Kansas with my daughter when it happened.
My daughters Malibu caught fire last May (due to the Robin's nest in the engine compartment). Once again, handled in less than two weeks.
Three weeks ago, my daughter totaled her Trax when a whitetail deer leaped in front of her. She completed the claim on the app, provided photos, was totaled before end of day. She put picture of paycheck in app, was paid for her two missed days of work on day she went back. The proceeds from her car was deposited 4 days after claim. And the reimbursed Michigan Sales Tax was deposited within day of her submitting receipt in app. So her full time was 10 calendar days. I would think that would meet most individuals expectations.
The payoff on my daughter's Trax was within $200 of what I expected, and both the others were more than I expected.
I have Progressive for my travel trailer, and other trailers. I have Progressive for the Personal Watercraft.
I just hope that I get back to the consecutive years of no claims like I had in the past.
