Having receintly bought a TT and being a newbie to bigger trailer towing I can attest that you better know what your TV is good for before you fall in love with a TT. I visited around six TT dealers in my search and everyone of them said with my Yukon I could choose just about anything on the lot. We ended up with a TT that is 5500gvwr because I had some, not all, the knowledge to make a wiser choice thanks to this fourm.
