You also mentioned less power... check turbo/intercooler boots and intercooler for cracks/tears/leaks, worn out boots/tubes can cause loss of power as air maybe escaping from the turbo or intercooler on the way to the intake. Also check intake manifold area, could be a leaky gasket.
This is where I would go first.
should have added this as well... check the turbo charger too, you may have a cracked housing. Got my fingers crossed you just need to replace a tube.
