Have an 06 DTS, with Northstar, averages 20mpg in local traffic and have seen 26+ on the highway. Yes, it leaves oil drips on the garage floor and engine removal is required to repair leaks. At 1 quart of oil per oil change and 110k miles it is a great road car.
