I thought all Caddy's from mid-late 90's and up had the NS engines and were pretty stout? Do they even offer the DeVille anymore? If not, it's a shame as it and it's counterpart, Lincoln Town Car (discontinued) were the last of the large cars from Detroit. If you could find a good TC, it has the 4.8 or 4.6 V8 and it has been in service since early 90's and used in police cars (Ford Crown Vics) and to best of my knowledge extremely good history (engine).
