1 ton ride quality

Well I will add that we have a 2016 Ram 3500 DRW with leaf springs and sill haven't dropped the air in the rear tires to 35 or 40 psi, but compared to the 2001 Ram 2500 with camper package, it is a very comfortable ride.
Ours is a daily driver, the same as Cummins12V98, the best thing about the ride is I still have excess payload when towing.

My friend had a 2017 with leaf springs that was wrecked and replaced with a 2018 with bags. His wife complains that the bags are very bouncy in comparison. I have a 2015 3/4 with coils and find that his 1 ton rides at least as comfortable as my 3/4 ton. And for the record, they both drive VERY comfortable for HD pickup trucks, in my opinion.

YES its a nice ride loaded and unloaded. As mentioned drop the rear tires to 35psi running solo. I always leave fronts at 80.

I run mine in Alt ride mode and it sets nearly level making entry and exit easier.

Mine is a 15 and has been trouble free three 75k and 5 plus years.

Our 15 with long box and tires aired down in the rear to 35 lbs rode quite nice, even better with 200 lbs of sand bags.
