You could unbolt them from the lower plate, and run modest pressure (10-25 psi) and see if that makes a ride improvement. This will restore rebound/droop in your suspension. Right now, the airbags are artificially restriction movement to about 4" total travel, vs the 12"+ it was originally designed with.
UJointoffroad installs all their airbag kits "floating" from lower plate, and have not seen any problems doing this.
My approach was different, I went with long-travel tapered airbags, which have about 12" total travel so they don't really restrict the suspension.
