My wife’s 13 impala doesn’t have the flex fuel badges on the trunk like most impalas have. I just figured someone pulled them off. She was getting around 11 mpg to and from work and I couldn’t figure out why it was so bad on a car that is 18 city 30 hwy. I did a search and saw Chevy offered the car with e85 engines and without. Filled it up with pure gas and her mileage jumped up to 16 mpg on the next tank. That’s all she runs now. I never knew of the engine option.
