Normally stay out of these type controversial subjects, but what the heck, here is my take on it.
Forcing the ethanol industry on us, is a way to subsidize the agriculture industry, using our tax dollars, to keep ethanol gas prices lower, to keep production up. It keeps crop prices up, food prices up, and helps big industry, such as the ethanol producing industry. Sadly the most gain is to the wealthy, which congress will always cater to.
Anyway, isn't America still the greatest place to live, and raise our families. Sure the middle class has to support the rich and the poor, but it seems to be working, as it has always operated that way, and is how our tax system is designed.
