I vote this is the best advice. I just cannot see running hot liquids thru any kind of plastic appliance. All it does is brew added polyvinyl chlorides into the coffee from plastic. There is already enough cancer in a lot of our friends and other Americans around us.
Just make sure the coffee pot has a glass bubble on the top.
Camping is for getting a break from any kind of normal routine so we stove top perc also. It's a lot of fun in the anticipation and learning to get it just right.
