12 volt compressor fridge- any reason not to buy this one ?

The only downside I see to a compressor fridge, and the reason why I possibly would keep the Norcold 3 way is what do you do when you are camped 2 weeks in the forest with a lot of shade trees but it is hot and muggy (or rain). This is a common situation for us and I don't know how much solar we would need under that situation for a compressor fridge.
