We have a Wagan Elite 400W PSW inverter I got off Amazon. Works really well powering a 32" tv and a receiver. It has a fan that runs once in a while but we don't notice it at all. It is always plugged in and running and has been for about 3 months. Still going strong with no problems. Doesn't alarm until 12V. Will also alarm if one tries to pull too many watts for the box, the wire, or the jack (we have two jacks - one allows about 80W the other about 300W).
