I use the VIAIR 450 Portable Air Compressor. It's 100% duty cycle which I believe you will need. You don't want to have to turn it off and wait for it to cool down.
It is not fast but it will get the job done
Was my selection too after building spreadsheet with different units and comparing fill up time for my tires from 30 to 80 psi. It was slower than others, but the 100% duty cycle gave it the edge.
Did a test on my drive way after getting. Wanted to see what 20 psi looked like in the tire then tested airing back up. Was well pleased and the numbers were within seconds of the calculated time. Just the fact that the pump worked as advertised was impressive, usually they are much slower.
Other issue was because I travel alone lots of time and figure there is more chance of airing down because of soft sand or mud on back roads, when I needed it, there wasn't alternative means around.
If there will always be backup option or you don't mind grabbing a cool drink between tires, the cheaper ones may be for you.
