Probably another self resetting circuit breaker has failed. Would help to know the amp rating, wire size, and the converter amp rating.
Unless there is a branch connection I would just remove the breaker and bond the wires together. Install an appropriate fuse or breaker at the battery for easier access. I would not replace any self resetting breaker with same.
