I just attended the TCT rally in Michigan and it was a great time, and wonderful to see all of the restored trailers. You do have a valid concern though, about staying within financial limits . I think a lot of the folks that fully restore their trailers have the time and the dollars to invest in them. It doesn't look like an easy job. There are links on the TCT website to vintage trailer parts dealers and other restorers. Good luck with the work ahead of you. Depending on the time and $ you're willing to invest, it may turn out really nice.
