ksu_j, you probably have noticed that they seem the same off the line. What about at cruising speed? I would have to think that the 8.1L/4.10 combo has the advantage in 3rd and 4th.
Yes, that is certainly the truth and you captured my thoughts perfectly. Off the line, the Denali probably felt quicker. At highway speeds, because it's wrapped up a bit at 2500 RPM's I can hit the gas and it'll jump and accelerate without downshifting much better. With that perspective in mind, this rig will certainly pull the camper down the highway with much more ease, that's for sure. And after all, that's the true reason I bought. I work from home, so I don't even need to drive it every day if I don't want to.
