17" wheels
I have been looking at a F250 Diesel with 17" wheels the door sticker states Front GAWR 5940 Rear GAWR 6100 and the GVWR 10000 is this good enough to tow FW around 9000 to 11000 lbs?

Personally I would never purchase a 3/4 with a diesel. The weight of the diesel eats up way too much (~600lbs) of the payload.
The truck you are looking at will have about 2000lb rated payload. I stress rated, not capable. If YOU are OK going over the 3/4 GVWR then those trailer weights will be fine.
Please ensure you do not exceed your tire ratings!!! The 17" tires are your weakest link.
