So far I can’t say enough good things about my Sumitomo ST918’s. I really wanted a traction tire but with a closed rib on the shoulders, I was hoping to be would be rewarded with better tracking and less noise and more even wear.
I’m very pleased to report that driving down the highway they track great and are very smooth. I did have them siped for better ice traction, I’ve been doing this for many years.
I drove about 200 miles today at speeds up to 75mph; it was a very relaxed and controlled feeling compared to my old 16” load range E tire and wheel set up.
