19.5 truck tires

Thanks for the info I have a F450 Ford with a custom Aluminum bed and a Arctic Fox 990 camper. I went to several tire dealers for quotes and they are outrageous on prices. George

I just put a set of Hercules H902's 245 70 19.5 on my F550. My sons shop runs them on their tow trucks and usually see 75 to 80K miles out of them.
Reasonably priced at $160.00 Each. mounting was free as my son did them. They are made in China but given the history on the tow trucks I decided to go with them.

Went to 245's for weight rating of 4300 lbs while the 225's were 3700.
Load range F commercial tire. Aired up to 100 lbs. They ARE NOT a light truck tire.
Got them at Tire dealers warehouse in Phoenix

I put the Geostar tires on my F550 delivery truck two years ago. They were the worse tires I ever put on any vehicle, EVER. Could never get them to balance, even with sacks inside the tires, poor traction and just overall a poor tire. I took them off 8 months later, cut the side walls so no one else would use them, and bought a set of Firestone TransForce.
