Here is another question. My spare is a factory 265/75/17.
So, being these tires are pretty massive, and the spare won't work as I have a limited slip in the rear and the size difference is pretty extreme (31" vs. 35"). Would I be insane to lose my spare, keep my AAA RV plus, a plug kit and some tire slime? With the extremely tough carcass of the new tires....I honestly won't have a compressor that could blow one of these up if I wanted.
I'd lose the weight from carrying a spare that won't help me and I ahve tires that are pretty hard to kill.
Stupid idea? I can't carry a spare this size on my truck......
Consider a front hitch and spare tire carrier as an option.
Are you sure it will not fit? I have a 245/70R19.5 spare under my F350. I had zero issues getting it to fit
