1952 shasta

Well here we go again. I have the chance to purchase a 52 shasta thats 16 foot long. They want 50 bucks for it,and it has everything in it original. The stove, toilet, all original. Do I do it and rebuild my second shasta,or sell parts off of it and try to make some money. Its going to be a complete rebuild but it has good bones.

  • If I knew where "home" was and it was close to me, I would tell you to buy it and I would double your money today, but "home" could be anywhere.
  • Depends on condition but there are not many restorables left...... once it is gone its gone..... If you didn't want to restore it sell it whole & make the profit & let some one else have the fun............
  • I sure hope you do get the Shasta and post some pictures, too.

FWIW, I have my eye on a '50's Airstream for the same purpose. I'm trying to decide if I want to take on another big project.

Yoicks and hoity-toity- it was born the same year I was!

Believe-you-me, if it was for sale near me I'd buy it for that reason alone.

    Per "scrap or save":
1952 was a vintage year all the way around (see above)- the old girl is well worth saving.

    P.S.

    Same goes for the trailer...:B
