1956 F100 what can it pull?
I am building this truck with a 1972 Ford 429 motor with throttle body fuel injection and turbo charged, a C-6 transmission, 31 spline Ford 9" rear end with 325 gears and posi-traction. Totally boxed...

Pulling a TT is one thing but you eventually have to come to a stop.
Did anyone read the entire post?? Four wheel disc brakes, beefed up frame, 429 Tubo'd, C6 Ford bullet proof transmission?????
It will have NO issues towing a 10K trailer, And Its probably a given youll have trailer brakes!! I don't see the big issue,, It may be labeled as a half ton but the picture I see is a truck with capabilities well into or beyond a 3/4 ton.
Oh,, and a Ford 9" rear??
Maybe those that have a hard time finding a dip stick would balk,but to any one else that actually understands what he has will be envious!!
