1956 F100 what can it pull?
I am building this truck with a 1972 Ford 429 motor with throttle body fuel injection and turbo charged, a C-6 transmission, 31 spline Ford 9" rear end with 325 gears and posi-traction. Totally boxed...

Thanks for all the encouragement on my project. We will have a Hensley WD hitch. The frame has extra cross members for the fuel cell and air bags supports. Will have 4 core extra large radiator with a puller radiator cooling fan also trans and oil coolers. My wife would love to have the truck pulling a retro but...we will be full timing and can't pull two trailers:)Stopping should be ok as the trailer will come with brakes and we will have a extra remote braking system.
"Sheesh, I'm going out on a limb and guessing anyone with that knowledge and fab skills knows that it's not going to chug down the road with the AC, seat heaters, exhaust brake and Nav on like you're sitting in your living room!" This quote is kinda funny in that we won't have exhaust brakes or seat heaters :)
But again thanks to all. It really is hard to find out what we can pull safely.
