Nice repair work!

From the pictures, it looks like some of your framing has shrunk over the years. The pictures of the window jambs show some space between the sills and verticals. I'd suggest to pack some construction adhesive in those cracks. I must have gone through 20 tubes building back my framing. Inspection after installation showed that the walls regained a lot of strength from the adhesive.
