Well I haven't received any input on water pumps so I did a little research. I think I'll stick with Shurflo since they've been around for-ever - since 1968 if I'm to believe their web page. Hey! That's how long Lil' Queeny has been around too! Cool.
It seems they've switched to new models, which act as specific replacements for past models. I'm not interested in "the best". Nor do I want their cheapest. I'm shooting for this model.
Shurflo Revolution 4008 2.3 GPM at 12V.
That's a mid to high range flow rate and pressures up to around 55 PSI. Compared to it's 3.0 GPM sister, it requires only a 5 Amp circuit as opposed to a 7.5 Amp. And these new pumps have an interesting balancing valve that opens between one high pressure and another higher pressure, resulting in a smoother over all flow, eliminating the need for an accumulator tank (which I was kind of planning on, but not so much now).
The flow is supposed to deliver high enough volume + balancing for various use including spray ports and low volume shower heads.
It's priced right. And without an accumulator tank I'll have space to carry a jug of anti-freeze. Or perhaps an air-tank - but that's another matter. ;)
