Happy New Year... got myself a present today. Fantastic Fan/Vent 6600. Installed the new 26x26 escape hatch. Perfect fit after cutting away approx 4 inches from the fiberglass roof. Re installed the old metal bathroom "pop up" vent. Ugly, but it works and didn't feel like cutting away any og the bathroom fiberglass. Ok now to the fantastic... We had the old hall vent (the last vent to install) Old but th e fan still worked in it and the dome was still intact. Got it all in (battened down with a steel lip installed for extra support) Perfect right? Nope. Hubby decided he wanted to tighten it just a little more (always taking it to the extreme) and he cracked the dome with his weight. hahaha. So that leads me to the new fantastic 6600 with remote control and rain sensor. His stupidity cost him...LOL
