1989 Mallard

So I'm picking up a 89 Mallard "sprinter" 27' TT soon Its From my uncle. Its in decent shape. But I cant find any info on this trailer at all. So was woundering if any of yall would know where to find some info like standard specs of it. All I can find online is for class C coaches. Any help is appreciated

  • The title will say that? Just basic. weight total length. Guess what the sticker would say? The place where the model number would be is faded. Its there just cant't read it. drivers side by the tongue.
  • measure the length with a tape measure and then pull it over some CAT scales for the weight. More accurate than a brochure anyway. :)

It's a basic trailer, steel chassis, wood frame and aluminum siding. Appliances are all pretty much the same, not much to be learned from a manual, I'd say. Replace the stuff that no longer works, upgrade the converter/charger to a nice 3 stage unit, and go camp!

oh, and re-caulk all the seams, especially on the roof. Looks like a bit of an issue on that rear lower corner, with the siding pulling away. Check all the corners and make sure it's sealed up.
  • Many campers of this age have a sticker inside a kitchen cabinet that details the model numbers of the TT and all the appliances.
The book value of this unit probably is no higher than $3000.00 so you are going to want to be careful with how much you want to invest in repairs/updates, but definitely take care of that corner. :)

Sounds good. I know the water does not work. Debating on fixing it. That corner was recently damaged got hit by neighbor but plan on fixing it.
